Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
I often wonder which is more painful, inability to read or inability to apply what was read. The writer here has no intention to make anyone feel sulky or deplore. The very simple purpose of this blog is to talk, discuss, share and find different ways of unlocking the potential, the creativity that lies in each of us. The above poem is of Great Khalil, which simply means we often try to inflict our ideas on the next generation due to our own inability to convince them. And then we give these things on the name of religion, civilization and humanity, making all these words as trivialized as we all are in front of the giant Himalayas.
I welcome all those who feel we must provide the very freedom to experiment with one’s own ideas along with the wealth of experiences already existing around. To those who wish to contribute to the field of education, as we all know what we have lost by not experimenting and blindly following the traditions as life is not just about bread and butter after all.
